Grants
On average around 100 research projects are carried out under the auspices of the LBG. These include EU projects, projects of the FWF, the Oesterreichischen Nationalbank [Austrian National Bank], Zukunftsfonds [Future Fund], the Wiener Wissenschafts-, Forschungs- und Technologiefonds [Vienna Science and Technology Fund]. Details on the projects of the individual Ludwig Boltzmann Institutes can be found on their websites.
Reporting
The reporting of the LBG is carried out by reference to a guide, which allows a structured procedure to be adopted for the Ludwig Boltzmann Institutes and is also used as a basis for evaluations. The internal reporting documents the progress of the research activities for the partner organisations and allows financial controlling. Annual reports of the individual institutes are drawn up for the purpose of external communication.
