Principal Investigator (LBI RUD)

We are looking for an outstanding biomedical scientist to start or consolidate her/his research group at an exciting new institute pursuing basic and translational research on rare genetic diseases. Relevant areas include (but are not limited to) the hematopoietic and immune system as well as the nervous system. Systems biology approaches are equally appreciated as focused mechanistic studies and translational research with direct clinical applications, or any combination of the above.

Senior Research Associate/Deputy Lab Head (LBI RUD)

Join Austria’s first research institute dedicated to the biological basis and molecular therapy of rare and undiagnosed diseases! Rare and undiagnosed diseases are paradigmatic for the era of precision medicine, and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases (LBI-RUD) broadly embraces their pioneering role for the future of medicine. They are looking for an outstanding biomedical scientist/medical doctor to join the director’s group as Senior Research Associate/Deputy Lab Head.

Postdoc Position in Health Economics (LBI AD)

The recently established transdisciplinary Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Applied Diagnostics (LBI AD) in Vienna, Austria, is an international research institute which focuses on the development and application of non-invasive dual diagnostic methods (combining molecular epigenetic and genetic signatures and molecular imaging biomarkers) to allow for improved tumor diagnosis and characterisation, and its translation into personalised patient care.
